Now this might be one of the dumbest things I have seen someone do in a while. Josh Howard was invited to Allen Iverson's flag-football game and during the national anthem he says something along the lines of "The Star-Spangled Banner is going on. I don't celebrate this [expletive]. I'm black."

This is apalling. Yes Josh - even though you are black, you are just as much a citizen as I am and therefore yes the national anthem applies to you just as it does to me. Instances like this give athletes the reputation of being horrible role models in society. It is one of our God-given liberties to be a free nation. Why these uneducated African American prima donnas think they are above recognizing how special that is, is beyond me. Have some class Howard. It's a disgrace.
